The bicycle seatpost is a key component that affects riding comfort, safety, and efficiency.

Installation and Adjustment Points

Confirm Size Matching: The seatpost diameter (such as 27.2mm, 30.9mm, 31.6mm, etc.) must perfectly match the seat tube of the frame. Forcing it in may cause damage.

Sufficient Insertion Depth: The length of the seatpost inserted into the frame should exceed the 'minimum insertion line,' generally recommended to be at least 10 cm, to ensure structural strength.

Angle Adjustment
Sleeve-type Seatpost: Loosen the fixing bolts, adjust the saddle to be level with the ground (or fine-tune for personal comfort), and then symmetrically tighten both bolts.

Single-pin Seatpost: Use an Allen wrench to loosen the bolt, fine-tune the angle using the toothed engagement structure, and then tighten it.

Quick-release Structure Usage
For quick-release seatpost clamps, first open the quick-release lever, adjust the height, then press tightly until you hear a 'click' indicating it is locked.

Avoid over-tightening, especially for carbon fiber seatposts, and use a torque wrench to prevent cracking.
