Main Uses
Steering Control: The upper end of the front fork connects to the handlebars, and the lower end secures the front wheel axle. By turning the handlebars, the direction of the front wheel changes, making it a core component for bicycle steering.
Weight Transmission: As a connecting part between the frame and the front wheel, it bears the weight of the entire bike and the rider while transmitting road impact forces to the tire to distribute them.
Shock Absorption: In mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and similar models, the front fork contains spring, air-pressure, or hydraulic systems to absorb impacts from rough road surfaces, enhancing riding comfort and safety.
